Purchased the farm near Wilson, North Carolina in 2013 in preparation for retirement from a 41 year Navy career. Established the hay fields, built the barn and started preparing for life after the Navy. In 2016 made the final move to Following Seas Ranch.

Added miniature cattle in 2018 as a cow/calf operation to breed and sell calves in an emerging market in North Carolina. Initially doing Artificial Insemination (AI) from Pandarosa Kung Fu Panda, in 2019 was able to acquire the bull as permanent fixture to the ranch.
